1302.101 Management system.
Review requirements for implementing a management system that provides effective oversight of all program areas, promotes clear staff roles and responsibilities, and ensures staff understand reporting procedures.
1302.102 Program goals, continuous improvement, and reporting.
This standard focuses on establishing program goals, monitoring program performance, using data for continuous improvement, and reporting.
1303.10 Purpose.
Grant recipients must observe standards of organization, management, and administration that ensure all program activities are conducted in a manner consistent with the purposes of the Head Start Act.
1303.30 Grant recipient responsibility and accountability.
Grant recipients are accountable for supporting and overseeing its delegate agencies, ensuring delegates provide high-quality services to children and families and meet all applicable Head Start requirements.
1303.31 Determining and establishing delegate agencies.
This standard presents the requirements for determining and establishing written agreements with delegate agencies.
1303.32 Evaluations and corrective actions for delegate agencies.
Grant recipients must evaluate and ensure corrective action for delegate agencies according to Sec. 641A(d) of the Head Start Act.
1303.33 Termination of delegate agencies.
To end a delegate agency contract, grant recipients must show just cause why termination is appropriate or demonstrates cost effectiveness.
