Programs, at their discretion, can choose to use Office of Head Start (OHS)-trained consultants to facilitate the planning and implementation of an Early Head Start-Child Care (EHS-CC) Partnership or an EHS Expansion.

Fiscal Consultant Initiative

Fiscal consultants are deployed by the National Center for Program Management and Fiscal Operations’ (PMFO) Fiscal Consultants Initiative (FCI) through a regional OHS referral process. The fiscal consultants are able to deliver services related to systemic fiscal and facilities management, including EHS-CC Partnerships, via virtual technology, telephone consultation, fiscal institutes, or on-site visits. FCI fiscal services are delivered at no cost to the grant recipient. Contact your regional OHS program specialist for more details.
