Discover the latest research and evidence-based practices that support children’s learning and development from birth to age 5. The resources below provide in-depth information about the science of child development. They are designed to help Head Start programs implement effective practices aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework. All education staff can learn more about the science of child development in the BabyTalks (infant and toddler) and Front Porch Broadcast (preschool) webinar series. Teaching staff and home visitors can also use the Connecting Research to Practice Tips to help them support children’s learning across developmental domains.
