Woman: My turn! Olivia, bring your truck over here, and when it's your turn, then you can – Oh, she's out of here.
Zaden: Three!
Woman and Zaden: Four! Five! Six!
Woman: Wait a minute.
Zaden: Eight!
Woman: Let me help Olivia come around.
Zaden: Nine! Ten. Eleven! Twelve.
Woman: Twelve?
Zaden: Sixteen.
Woman: Sixteen? How about thirteen?
Zaden: Thirteen.
Woman: Fourteen.
Zaden: Fourteen.
Woman: Fifteen. Go! Would you like to try one, Ember Lee?
Ember Lee: Yeah!
Woman: One, two, three, four...
Ember Lee: Whoa!
Woman: Go! Crash! Say, "Zaden, I wanted to see how fast it will go.” Tell him. Say, "Please wait for my turn to be done.” Come on, Zaden. Come back up here to the top. Wait for your turn. Thank you. Ready?
Zaden: Set, go!
Woman: Set, go. Whoo! That's pretty fast!
Zaden: Three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, sixteen.
Woman: Is it ready to go?
Zaden: Yeah.
Woman: All right. Let's see it. Whoo!
This video shows Zayden starting his count from three and successfully counting to six, before he skips a few numbers in the sequence. This behavior reflects Goal IT-C 8 for children around 36 months, who are able to count but sometimes make errors, such as counting the same object twice or using numbers out of order.
