Higher Education Learning Modules: Teachers in the Lead
Dr. Penuel: Well, I think the position statement by the National Association of Education of Young Children and the Fred Rogers Center put it best when they put this in their position statement last year, which is that teachers are in the lead. It's really up to teachers to make the decisions about which technologies to select, which ones to use, how to integrate them, and also to evaluate them.
So, we need to prepare teachers to be ready to evaluate different digital media and give them the lenses to do that as part of our work.
