The National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS) has partnered with Illuminate Colorado to bring the Conversation Guide for Professionals on Substance Use, Children, and Families to Head Start staff. The Conversation Guide is a tool that provides ideas and resources to help professionals use strengths-based conversations when working with families. This four-hour training focuses on how to talk with families about substance use, safe and engaged caregiving, and protective factors that promote child and family well-being. It also provides free materials to supplement the training and share with other program staff. Check the registration page for all session dates and times.
